Essex Team Events
At Essex Lease, we believe that building strong relationships among our team members is key to fostering a positive and productive work environment. This year, we shared memorable moments at events like bowling at The Banquet, cheering at the Bull Busting and Stampede Rodeo, and relaxing together during our summer BBQ.

Essex Giving Back
Our annual golf tournament brought out some friendly competition while raising an incredible $201,517 for Kids Cancer Care! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we’re thrilled to share that, starting this year, a portion of these funds will support the creation of a treehouse at KCC’s Camp Kindle—a meaningful addition to a program that helps children and families heal after their cancer journey.
Continuing our spirit of giving, this holiday season we also organized a company-wide fundraiser in support of the Calgary Drop-In Centre and the Veterans Association Food Bank, making an impact for those in need. Another exciting Giving Back initiative is on the horizon—stay tuned for the details!

A Year of Achievements at Essex
2024 was a banner year for Essex Lease, marked by significant accomplishments and milestones:
- ABLoC Growth: Since its launch in 2020, the Asset Based Line of Credit (ABLoC) has steadily gained traction, but this year, it truly took off, becoming a standout product in our portfolio.
- Rental Fleet Expansion: We diversified beyond trailers, offering a broader range of rental options to meet client needs.
- Product Line Success: Every one of our product lines experienced growth, reflecting the strength of our offerings and client partnerships.
- Business Park Opening: Several companies have officially moved into the Essex Lease Business Park and are now open for business!
- Yard Enhancements: Significant improvements to our yard and the opening of the North Yard have further elevated our capabilities and offerings. In 2025 you can expect in-yard fueling and an in-yard scale.
- Record Fundings: December, May, and June were standout months, each setting new records for fundings.
